What is the biggest adversity you have had to overcome and how did it impact you?
I think that it is possible to face adversity in any task that you accept in life. However, I think the right perspective certainly helps you learn and grow. I personally believe that each challenge that we face in everyday life is an opportunity to better ourselves. I never want to be the same tomorrow as I am today. Further, I want to leave a positive impression that causes others to think and desire to achieve better for themselves and give a helping hand to someone else. The ultimate question that we must continue to ask of ourselves is whether your glass is half full or half empty.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being able to pass along my knowledge and experiences in life to those who don’t have the same access or opportunity. Every time that I can impact someone positively and pass along some helpful information that can steer them in a good direction in their lives, it’s a good day.

What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to serve on numerous boards, volunteered and sponsored charitable events, mentored youth, and consistently given my time to try to make a difference. I have worked extensively with community and civic groups to help improve and manage community, diversity and civic initiatives that impact our underserved communities.
