COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
I have worked with many charities for the past 24 years..wether it be on a committee or doing all the baskets for their fund raising efforts. I am involved with the Boca Raton Hospital Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, Zonta, The Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, The ARC, Chris Evert charities, Boca Raton Roundtable,The Humane Society, Women For Excellence and Women that Win. Being that I am in the type of business with gift baskets I have always tried to support the charites that have approached me for wrapping items for their fundraiser or donating a basket to raise money.

I have received awards from the Chamber of Commerce for the Small Business Person of the Year, and was honored as Tico Tores Golf Classic for the ARC of Palm Beach County for being a Co-Chair, I have received an award from the Soroptimist Club for woman of the year as well as the Twin Palms Center for my involvement.

What is the biggest adversity you have had to overcome and how did it impact you?
I think everyone knows the neon sign saga with the City of Boca Raton..I lost the Business and moved to Delray Beach for 5 years but Boca Raton was always in my heart…I made the move back to Boca in March of 2007 and feel like I am home again.

It was hard after 18 years to pick up the pieces and start again but I put my heart and soul and sweat and tears into this business that I love..but I was able to overcome it all and keep on going.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
The accomplishments that I am most proud of are running a business and pleasing people with our products and services and that I have been in this business for the past 24 years. I feel very blessed to have a wonderful and happy and fulfilled life and that I can give back to my community. I am very blessed to have a wonderful family and that my parents were able to work with me for many years in the business.
