Community Involvement
I have been an active member of the Women’s Wellness Society, as well as, The Business Interest Group, which contributes to the community by raising funds for Kids N Distress.

As a co-creator of Body & Soul 2009, an annual event, which raises funds for the Children & Family Achievement Center in Delray Beach, I coordinate local businesses, like myself, and we donate our services to the community.

Community Service Awards
I have not received any community service awards, but I receive great REWARDS from helping people everyday. I have the best job in the world, helping others feel great.

Adversity
Living directly across the street from the World Trade Center during the events of September 11th has profoundly changed my life. My heart and eyes opened up to the incredible gift of life. In search of strengthen and meaning, I immersed myself in my yoga practice. Through the powerful changes I experienced in my practice, I decided I wanted to share yoga with the rest of the world and became an Integral Yoga instructor. Coincidently, that is where I meet the love of my life. “Within the darkness there is light”.

Accomplishments
I am proud of myself for completing my book; You Deserve The Royal Treatment, A Woman's Guide to Living Royally. Even though, it took about two years from conception to completion, I stayed with my commitment to the project. When my doubts and insecurities creped in, I pushed pass them, reached out for the support of friends, experts and guides, all the while, keeping a strong belief in my book. Knowing I was going to support other women along their life journey, made it all worth it.

Leaving my corporate job and becoming a licensed massage therapist. Starting my own practice without a safety net or nest egg has given me a strong sense of accomplishment. Having the courage to start a new career and lifestyle also gave me the wisdom to make other important positive changes in my life.
