Working in nearly every capacity
of hotel operations at one time or
another, Nanette was first a Hotel
General Manager in 1990. Awarded Forte
Hotels “Operator of the Year” in
1992, Nanette was the first woman to
receive that honor among the company’s
400+ hotels.
Nanette has always been an active community
supporter, and is a graduate of Leadership
Broward. She has served numerous organizations
in Board positions, including the Greater
Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce,
the Fort Lauderdale Lodging and Hospitality
Association, and the Las Olas Association.
Nanette has taught hospitality courses
at City College, and has been a guest
lecturer at FAU.
Though her experience includes working
for corporate organizations such as
Forte Hotels, Holiday Corp and Hilton
Corporation, Nanette tells us she has
a special affinity for unique hotels
where providing personal guest service
is an integral part of that hotel’s
distinct competitive advantage. Having
just completed her first year at The
Bridge, Nanette is very pleased to
once again be representing a property
so well known for being a part of its
guests’ special memories.
When she’s not working, Nanette
spends much of her leisure time fishing,
gardening or walking on the beach.
Originally from the Northeast, Nanette’s
passion for the outdoors grew from
her family time spent in the Adirondacks,
where she continues to enjoy both winter
and summer fun on Indian, Mountain
View and Schroon Lakes. Nanette lives
in Boca Raton with her life partner,
Bill. A member of All Saints Episcopal
Church in downtown Fort Lauderdale,
Nanette enjoys spending Sundays on
Las Olas (when work doesn’t get
in the way) with her amazing daughter
Meredith, who lives in Victoria Park.
