Greetings!
My name is Kellie Kuecha and I am proud
to say that I am the Founder of this
wonderful organization that is helping women
take their careers and lives to the next
level. As a woman who began working
at the ripe age of 12, I understood very
young the power behind a good work ethic.
I grew up in a working class family and
mom stayed home to raise us. Although
we didn’t have a lot of extra money,
we were taught good values and that consistency
and persistency were the keys to success.
As a teenager I learned that if I really
wanted to make it big, I would need to help
other people get what they wanted, and by
default I would get what I wanted out of
life.
Growing up in the small town of Elwood,
New Jersey, there were not many options
for a big career. I remember going
to the boardwalk and winning prizes in the
grab machine and going to school and selling
them to make extra money. I had done
everything from working at the local deli,
selling crafts to picking and packing blueberries.
I worked on the farm long enough to know
I wanted to have a bigger career someday.
I had my sights set high on growing in the
corporate world. While I was raised
by two school teachers, I was not too enthused
about furthering my education beyond high
school.
At the age of 14, my life took a turn when
my parents got divorced. I moved away
and was raised by my father who was forced
to take on two jobs to support us.
He taught elementary school music during
the day and worked at a local bank in the
collections department in the evenings in
order to make ends meet. We struggled
for a while but we became a strong team.
He could not afford to pay someone to watch
me after school so he used his creativeness
to find me an opportunity that would later
pay off in a big way. Dad had a position
created for me at the bank working directly
for the Sr. VP. My work ethic and
dedication enabled me to grow with the bank
for four years. After graduating high
school, I went to work for Lenox China while
I attended college part time. I still
could not get a handle on what I wanted
to do when I grew up. In my heart
I knew I would one day own my own company,
but I had no idea what it would look like
and how I could make it happen. Groups
like Women that Win did not exist where
I lived.
At the age of 24, I took a position as Credit
Manager with Owens and Minor Corporation.
It was the career of my dreams and it was
at that point that I thought I had finally
arrived. I was traveling, managing the accounting
department and had the big corporate title
and nice office. I was hired to recover
years of lost money for the company. Although
a huge task, I was excited for the challenge.
In only eight months I collected millions
of dollars in outstanding debt and it was
then that I realized that I was not going
to continue to work for someone else. I
became very eager to venture out on my own.
I left the corporate world for good that
year to embark on a career helping women
develop their entrepreneurial spirit into
viable businesses. It was also around that
time that I purchased my first investment
property and have had a great interest in
learning about Real Estate ever since.
Over the past decade I have enjoyed an amazing
career as an entrepreneur. I have
traveled the country teaching women success
strategies and addressing the many issues
surrounding health and wellness. I
learned to take my life’s adversities
and turn them into opportunities and that
is how the foundation for all of my businesses
was formed. Having worked in such
a diversity of careers and businesses over
the years, I recognized the growing need
for fun programs that supported women in
business. My philosophy was no matter what
we are doing, we have to incorporate fun.
Having built a very large international
online women’s community, I understand
that when women are brought together and
that there is a unique synergy and power
that enables them to accomplish the sometimes
impossible. I also recognized that there
are very few opportunities for women to
learn from each others successes and failures
and hence the idea for Women that Win was
born.
I welcome you to this amazing community
of women who are here to support you.
We have worked very hard to develop programs
that will enable you succeed and grow beyond
your wildest dreams; all you have to do
is show up! Take this journey with
us, become a part of an elite group of women
who have chosen to make a difference.
We will see you at the top! |
